About
Product Leader. Inventor. Cybersecurity Practitioner.
I've spent the better part of two decades at the intersection of artificial intelligence and enterprise cybersecurity — building the products that help security operations teams work faster, respond smarter, and stay ahead of adversaries who never sleep.
My career started in R&D at Accenture Tech Labs, where I worked on some of the earliest applied NLP systems for threat intelligence — work that yielded 6 granted USPTO patents and conference presentations at Black Hat USA, Black Hat Europe, and ShmooCon. That hands-on research foundation shaped how I think about product: ruthlessly focused on what actually works in production, not what looks good in a demo.
At TruSTAR, I served as VP of Product and helped scale the company's threat intelligence platform to $50M+ in deal flow, culminating in its acquisition by Splunk in 2021. Post-acquisition, I led the integration of TruSTAR's capabilities into Splunk Security Cloud — one of the more complex product integration challenges I've navigated.
At Secureworks, I owned the XDR and Identity Detection & Response product lines, delivered a 30% improvement in mean time to respond, and took a new IDR product from zero to $1M ARR within six months. More recently, I joined Sophos to lead AI product strategy — defining how agentic AI, autonomous detection, and machine-speed response come together in the next generation of MDR.
I hold an M.S. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. from the University of Ghana. I believe the best security products are built by people who deeply understand both the adversary's playbook and the analyst's workflow — and I've spent my career at that junction.
